About Us

Welcome to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School, the small school with a big heart! We are a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located at 300 Sidney Street in Belleville.

Our school is a vibrant faith-filled community formed on the belief that our students will be empowered to reach their full potential through faith and service. Each day, we work to achieve our mission where all community members feel loved, inspired and successful. We are called to see our students through God's soft eyes and ensure they leave our school knowing they matter and are loved. We are a welcoming and inclusive school that celebrates the amazing gifts that God has given each individual. We prioritize our community's mental health, wellness, self-regulation and academic needs so that all feel loved, inspired, and successful. All staff support the development of positive relationships and social skills throughout the school day so that every child can grow to become responsible and self-directed problem solvers.

We value our Catholic Social Teachings, celebrate our virtues, and promote strong relationships between home, parish and school. At Our Lady of Fatima, we live our faith through experiences that foster a deeper understanding and connection to God our Father. We work in partnership with Father Whalen, our families, our Catholic School Council, and community agencies to build relationships and further the growth and success of our students.

We are blessed to have multiple outdoor spaces that include gardens, play structures, soccer nets, basketball courts, a peace garden, and picnic tables for students to play, learn, and grow during the school day.

You matter and you are loved!
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is dedicated to creating and promoting positive school climate and wellbeing for all staff and students. Equity, inclusion and diversity are at the core of our Catholic values. We believe in the Board’s spiritual theme of Faith in Action and guide our instruction with both provincial curriculum and the provincial Catholic Graduate Expectations. A positive school climate ensures that all students have the opportunity to achieve student success. Well-being encourages students to become motivated to do well and realize their full potential. We are committed to sustaining healthy and nurturing communities of belonging that are safe, caring and respectful and built on the principles of restorative practice and progressive discipline. Creating and sustaining positive relationship between students, staff, parents and community partners ensures that we continue to place students at the centre of education.
